This project was a complete website for Esencial, a small business in Medellin, Colombia, that offers spiritual counseling and transpersonal psychology services.

Owned by Nathalia Franco, it operates in a market that is jam-packed with psychologists, counselors, coaches, and scores of businesses in the wellness and personal transformation space.

Esencial's overriding message, however, is different from its competitors and boils down to this: there are no easy solutions.

Instead, personal transformation is only possible if individual patients or couples:
• are willing to take an honest look at their most intimate selves
• identify what is holding them back from a life of joy, peace, and abundance,
and, importantly,
• have the courage and diligence to chart a new path.

In putting together the website, I sought to capture the same spirit of realistic hope that Ms. Franco conveys to her patients, while steering clear of any aroma of hype or promises of unrealistic quick fixes.
